Leadership Training Program

The Leadership Training Program is the sorority’s application process, where we teach applicants everything they need to know to become Sigma Deltans — our culture, our work ethics, and our history.
There’s so much about the world that doesn’t work. Socio-economic inequality and climate change are among the major problems impacting large groups of people. Many of us understand these issues and experience a sense of powerlessness and anxiety in the face of them. Within this context, the sorority, through the LTP, can provide young women an opportunity and space to focus their energy towards accomplishing something meaningful, to actually finding their power and purpose.
Activities
Workshops
The workshops are mandatory group sessions where applicants will learn what it means to be a Sigma Deltan such as our organization, our history, our culture, and how we work.
Masterclasses
Masterclasses are short courses taught by experts to help participants discover more about themselves, learn and develop their skills, and equip them as leaders.
Group Project
The group project is the culmination of having a community that empowers the applicants toward purposeful outcomes, and is their avenue to apply everything they have learned throughout the Leadership Training Program.
What You Will Learn
Trust
You will learn how to trust yourself and your strengths, and how to trust in other people’s capabilities when working with each other. You can read more here.

You will learn how to keep your word, meaning you follow through in things you say you’ll do — no matter the circumstance you’re in. You can watch more here.

You will learn how to respect other people by recognizing your differences, looking beyond that while still showing common courtesy. You can read more here.
